2015-08-18
Van Buren, AR – August 12, 2015 – USA Truck, Inc. (NASDAQ:USAK), a leading capacity solutions provider headquartered in Van Buren, AR, has empowered its Company over-the-road driving team members with the ability to select when and where they take time off.

Choose Your Hometime is geared toward providing USA Truck’s driving team members with an enhanced work/life balance and flexible scheduling, including a weekly hometime option. Under the new policy, drivers may choose to take their hometime at any time or location within the Company’s approved network, arranging the details with their Driver Managers.
As a family-oriented Company, USA Truck understands there are times when it’s especially important to be home. Choose Your Hometime gives members of USA Truck’s professional driving fleet the freedom to decide how much or how little they want to run.
“We continually evaluate feedback from our driving fleet, as well as from prospective and former team members, and hometime is a recurring topic,” said Russell Overla, Executive Vice President, Truckload Operations for USA Truck. “There has never been more competition for qualified professional drivers, so we believe it’s important to listen and adapt whenever possible. Drivers understandably want choices in how they manage their schedules. This gives them those choices. Our Choose Your Hometime initiative is just one more enhancement that signifies us as a career destination.”
