Maverick Transportation Announces Driver Pay Increases and Incentive Pay for Experience for 2015
2015-01-13

With Maverick’s new pay for experience program, drivers with at least one year of over the road driving experience will be slotted in higher starting pay ranges, and these rates will increase for each year of verifiable driving experience. These increases will bring experienced drivers W2 pay averages to between $60,800 and $66,500 depending on how many years of experience and what division they drive in.

Drivers without experience that come in as part of Maverick’s industry leading student program also received mileage increases. Students that come to Maverick with a brand new Class A CDL or less than 6 months of driving experience can now expect to average over $53,000 their first year. Those that come to Maverick with 6-12 months of experience will average closer to $57,500.

Many of Maverick’s dedicated accounts also received pay increases.

“This is a significant pay increase across the board for all Maverick drivers,” said Director of Recruiting Brad Vaughn. “We are looking for the most professional and safest drivers on the road. Maverick’s pay package, extra incentives for experienced drivers, training, equipment, and overall recruiting package is truly second to none.”

This announcement comes on the heels of the Grand Opening of Maverick’s new $3.5 million driver training center, their new introductory pay for performance program, and their recent announcement regarding a partnership with Arkansas State University (Newport) to sponsor students looking to obtain their Class A CDL for the first time.
